Tesla’s electric SUV has been the company’s best-selling model ever.
The automaker has been on a tear since launching the Model S in late 2015.
It’s now selling more than 3 million units a year and is on track to exceed the 4 million mark this year.
The Model X is a car that is so successful, it even has a sequel.
Tesla plans to unveil its latest version of the SUV in early 2019, according to the Wall Street Journal.
It will likely have a much sleeker, sportier appearance than the current model.
The SUV will also be powered by a new all-electric engine, though it’s unclear if that’s a hybrid or electric version.
Tesla CEO Elon Musk has been predicting for years that Tesla will have a Model X that sells like a luxury sports car.
The company is expected to sell about 10,000 cars a year, a far cry from the hundreds of thousands it sold in 2016.
The Model X’s sales are expected to hit an all-time high next year.
Tesla is currently in the process of building a factory in Nevada that will make its electric vehicle manufacturing plant.
Tesla is also in the midst of developing a smaller plant in China that will manufacture the Model X. It also has a production line in Canada.
While the company has been selling record numbers of Model Xs, the company is in a tough spot with the global recession.
The automaker is facing a $4.5 billion capital spending shortfall this year and the company still has more than 1,000 Model X sedans sitting on its assembly lines.
Tesla has also been criticized for selling overpriced vehicles in China.
